The three-day International Symposium on Baha’uddin Naqshband and Naqshbandiyya will take place on December 2-4, 2016. We invite academics and intellectuals from around the world to send their papers for this upcoming symposium. The deadline to submit paper abstracts is July 15, 2016. We request that the abstracts to be between 500-700 words and that the papers to be of original contribution to the field. Accepted papers will be announced on August 15, 2016. To ensure the printing of the symposium book, the final submission date for completed papers is November 1, 2016. Prospective session headings which will assist in determining the topics of the symposium papers are as follows;

1. Session on Baha’uddin Naqshband
2. Naqshbandiyya in the Central Asia
3. Naqshbandiyya in Anatolia and the Balkans
4. Naqshbandiyya in the Middle East
5. Naqshbandiyya in the Indian sub-continent
6. Naqshbandiyya in Istanbul
7. Sufi Education and Thought in the Naqshbandiyya
8. Naqshbandiyya in Social Relations
